With Dave Dombrowski, Lou Whitaker, and Joel Zumaya in the stands, Dwane Below pitched 7 shutout innings Wednesday night and recorded his third win of the year (3-3, 3.43 ERA). He surrendered just 2 hits and one walk to go with 7 strikeouts.
Lakeland’s record now stands at 28-24 and they are just 2 games back of Tampa and Dunedin for 2nd place in the FSL West.
Tonight, the red-hot Jonah Nickerson takes on the Tampa Yankees in Lakeland. Game time is 7 p.m.

That’s good to hear, I like Below when he was here last. Good to see your guys have picked up the pace after a slow start and are competative again.
