- Rick’s first appearance

****UPDATE****

Rick’s day is over.

1st inning:
Infield single (could have been an error as throw got past Thames), single to center, double play ball, out at 2nd, error on throw to first, runner goes to third. Another ground ball, run scores, 1-0. Then walked 2 batters and then got a ground ball.

2nd inning:
Infield single to 2nd, then groundball to third for a double play. He was then removed from the game.

So he pitched 1.2 innings and gave up 3 weak singles, 2 walks after the inning should have been over without poor defense. Not bad again. Certainly better than you’d expect for a CFer, and just the type of outing they’re hoping for him. He got all ground balls once again and nothing hit very hard at all or in the air.
