Minor League Spring Training begins tomorrow!
By Deran | March 13, 2008
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the minor league portion of Spring Training. The games will not take place inside Marchant Stadium, but on the back practice fields. I won’t be able to attend many, but I will try to make a few of the games. I’ll be posting updates almost daily.

I sometimes think that I enjoy MiLB ST more than ST for the big boys. It’s enjoyable to follow the progress of players I got to watch up here in West Michigan.

I completely agree. Especially since Detroit’s roster is pretty much set. I’m really looking forward to seeing a few of the minor leaguers in action.

I checked with Security today and was told that the backfields are only open for family on Detroit Home game days. I trust this will change with the beginning of MiST
