Deran I woulld guess you are in the 98-100% bracket on this barring unknown issues above this franchise. I haven’t watched Angel before, but all of the other players have earned their positions with Lakeland and should be a strong team to cheer for! We’ve already seen 9 of the players take the field in LT or LFT uniforms. This is the first projection I have seen and it is solid.

Thanks a bunch. I understand how hard this is to get ahold of.

One thing: it appears as if you are missing one player, as the roster is only 24. Either that or they are deciding to go one player short to start off.

Are you sure you haven’t seen Angel? I could be mistaking him for another pitcher, but I believe he had a no-hitter through 8 innings last season before Bradshaw took him out of the game.

Looks like we’ll have good team on paper lets just hope they perform better then last year, then again anything is better then lst year.

I was shock to see Dusty Ryan start out in Erie considering he missed most of the year last year and when he returned wasn’t that impressive during the rest of the season or in his HWL stint.

With only 24 players and 4 OFers, I wonder why they wouldn’t just stick Cotto on the roster?

Roger, I’m sure you saw Angel last year. He got promoted from the Whitecaps prior to the All-Star break. Knowing how often you’re at the ballpark, I’d think that you must have seen him pitch.

Overall he was pretty solid when pitching in West Michigan. If he let his curve hang, the other team would nail it, but after his first couple of starts he got that under control.

[…] LFT Blog has the Lakeland roster which I find quite interesting. The rotation features Rick Porcello along with Jonah Nickerson, Duane Below, and Luis Marte. The up the middle players feature top catching prospect James Skelton and the double play combo will be Scott Sizemore and Cale Iorg. Take 75 North points out that the team at the end of the season might not resemble this roster at all with a number of players who could be moved up if they produce. […]

Kyle, Matt; You’re absolutely right. I remember that game and he is in my photo file. I called him”angel” last year and this Spring I found he prefers “An-hell”.

Oh, the irony of a guy with the name Angel pronouncing it “An-hell”.
