Welcome to the Lakeland Flying Tigers blog! Posting will be myself, Deran (lifelong Tigers fan and Flying Tigers season ticket holder) and Kyle (Cubs fan and also a Flying Tigers season ticket holder). We will be discussing everything from the Flying Tigers to the Gulf Coast League, pretty much anything baseball-related that happens here in Tigertown, Lakeland, FL. We will also be posting photos from games, recaps, interviews, etc. I hope you enjoy our blog.

It’s good to see you guys starting up this bog. This site should be a great source. There are lots of places to look at stats but I don’t get to see the minor leaguers play enough so first hand info will be very useful.

Really looking forward to information on LFT Players.
The Cal Poly SLO Alumni Fan Club
is really excited about Casey Fien,a former Mustang.
We wish him well as he starts mini camp on Feb.19.
Looks like he could be one of the big “surprises” coming out of spring training.

With the combo of Roger’s photos and the baseball knowledge you two have, this blog is sure to be a hit! Crap… pun not intended.

Great article on starting pitchers and the trade.
When is the organization going to get their games on internet radio.
Think it would be a great way to encourage attendance, grow the fan base with younger audience, connect older fans with the team and provide additional revenue stream.
