At last, we have baseball!

And I get to take a break from the grind at the office to sit in 80 degree weather, drink a cold beer, and gaze at the lovely college girls that are sure to inhabit Marchant stadium this afternoon.
Oh, and there’s even a baseball game to watch!
Today marks the official unofficial start to Spring Training, as the Detroit Tigers take on Lakeland’s very own Florida Southern College Moccasins. All of the regular position players will be starting, but will likely only get one at-bat. Pudge will bat leadoff, only because Leyland doesn’t want him to have to catch 3 innings before getting an AB. Here is the pitching lineup.
For now, I have to get work done before I head to the park. I’ll be taking pictures and posting them later on tonight, so stay tuned!
